Dio is definitely a true legend. and probably one of the nicest people you'd meet. There was a concert a fan spent all his money to go to Dio's concert and had no money to get back, so he was walking. Dio, stopped his bus and gave the guy a ride home. Yea he's the type of guy who would give you the shirt off his back if you needed it. RIP Dio, you will be missed greatly.

@HEAVYMETALGODS86feb9 ok lol dont be ofended i just tought may be...cause your english is kinda diferent.but i'm not very good in english anyway .Guess i can say almost the same about my country( Brasil)except for poverty and stuff.Canada had some really good bands..i like winterhawk.no body knows them basicaly lol. is awesome,.their record Revival is a masterpiece.But Dio is really the king. i like vivian campbell better than randy roads.but the 80's were amazing bout rock musicians

Just dont forget Dio was for sure a metal head ,but not just this....he was a singer...not a small minded radical musician.thats exactelly why he beat he hell out (vocaly) this metal singers who only listen to this stile and think all the rest of music is crap....if you are a singer you cant close your eyears to any good music or singer...u will still be a metal head .be a metal slave only will make you a worse singer.listen to elf with dio early 70's .No metalllbut amazing as hell
