  • this is a good video but idk why it bothers me the way you say silicone. I know this is an old video so there really isn't any reason to comment but I am getting a droid x2 and I was looking at this case because they have the same hardware specs (size)

  • @Comikkaze Yeah it was a pretty good case. However, I put my phone in my pocket as do most people I assume and unfortunately after a few months the small plastic pieces around the volume and the charging ports broke off. It didn't really hinder the use of the case but it drove me crazy. I went back to using my TPU case instead.

  • would this case work with the extended battery?

  • @Gibsonfan55 Well it honestly would be hard to say since I don't have an extended battery to test it with. I have however noticed that the extended battery cover doesn't make it much thicker than with the standard cover. It seems like the silicone is actually what keeps the Droid X in place and it does stretch quite a bit. I don't think you should have a problem, but I cant make any promises.

  • @Gibsonfan55 I wonder if you could cut out the rubber part right where the battery is to fit the extended battery?

Or another thing I've seen some people do is just leave the battery door off altogether and it usually fits fine that way.
