Bending application during the GIZELIS OPEN HOUSE 12-14 of March 2010. The robot is a MOTOMAN MH50-35 with DX100 controller and works together with a 2 meters pressbrake with 80tn of force.

  • @aekringe Custom is the keyword why you have a job and you're not doing what that robot does. Bending 1000-1M of parts that are exactly the same would be very boring and difficult for a human (without some level of automation, cnc press). If a robot is slow, it's because it has been programmed to be slow. Robots themselves can damage the part just by doing rapid acceleration. Production in China is cheap, robots are the next best thing. Now you don't have to comment in every robot video.

  • Glad a machine can get away with fucking off and wasting time moving slow. Why on earth are robots SOOO slooowwww. I honestly thought one day I might be replaced by a machine even though I work at a custom shop, but if I worked that slow I would be homeless. Guess machines must be super cheap or something.
