Sacha is Jewish, and a brief look at Wikipedia shows that barely any Kazakhstani material is used in the film. The scenes showing Borat's home village were filmed in the Gypsy village of Glod, Romania, the text is the Russian Cyrillic alphabet. Sacha speaks Hebrew, while Azamat (played by Ken Davitian) speaks the Eastern dialect of Armenian.
It is quite obvious that the film brings out the prejudices in the general American public, rather than exposing Sacha's hidden beliefs.
