in 1933 when the hays code began to be strickly inforced, this film was drasticly cut from its original form, there was later a seach for the missing scenes but they were lost, that explains the chopped story line

I am surfing for 1957 version , which I saw in my chidhood in big screen picutre hall with my aunty and other members as eveing show in some remote town.My aunty is no more for many many ears now. I think that was a colored movie.

there is a mistake in the information about the film in the YT-Channel. It says at the beginning this is made in 1957 with Rock Hudson and Vittorio De Sica. But this is the first version of 1932 with Gary Cooper. The image is right too(1932) Well, so I got to know a movie which I didn't know before. thx to drelbcom
