Magnetic Pulse Welding Uses very strong magnetic pulse created by a large surge of current usually in millions of watts that has been stored in arrays of large capacitors. It is very usefull for welding aluminum and copper pipes to dissimilar metals such as ac line. The idea is has been around for a while but it is just beginning to hit the market for industrial purposes.
