This video was made to replace the previous one. The Jeep JK project Phase ONE is now complete. This video shows the build process, the problems and the success!..... plenty of wheelin too! The 2009 Jeep JK Unlimited 4-door Sahara edition is now more then ready, and more then capable for the trails! Comment! RATE!

I just bought a stock 2009 Unlimited and it lives in the city but will be doing VERY long road trips in central Australia as well [off road], a couple of times a year.. Not sure what I should do with it (small trailer?, buy a full set of extra tyres and rims when touring?), So many options not sure which to choose. Have decided on a snorkel; Lights seem good. Jerry cans [fuel,water] Have a radio, satellite 'phone, Will need two spare wheels so I suppose I should get a carrier? What else?

did i see lockers in this video cause last time only one wheel would spin and at 3:42 i saw both front wheels spinning

did u even disconnect the sway bar because i had a stock sahara like you and i easily made it over that but i did what you did i lifted it haha

@Rmb2010CoD Your right, the very first try was 2wd. The middle trys were 4wd hi. And the final try on the first run was 4Lo

you need to lower your PSI when you go off roadin. looks like you still have 32 PSi in the tires when you went over the rocks. Go to 20 and you will see a huge diff. and the reason there was rub is because you need 1.5 inch spacers when you go to 35's i did 35's and a 3 inch lift on my JK and no rub with wheel spacers.

@deltaneo1 It looks better, and is stronger when you simply upgrade the rims with 35's that have a stronger offset. And near the end of the video, going over the rocks, the PSI on the tires were down to 18. But thanks for the advice.

@Fraza90 These tires were all terrains, and performed better then most Mt's and AT's at the time.
