A popular destination for travelers is always the beach, and Fort De Soto, Florida is home to one of the annually top ranked beaches in the country. With it's clear water and white sandy beaches it's hard to argue a reason not to come to Fort De Soto. For the RVer you can park your rig at Fort De Soto Park just minutes away from the acclaimed beach. A good side trip from Fort De Soto would be to take a ferry over to Egmont Key where you can take a tour of a wildlife reserve and snorkel in the clear waters.
