, the chief then asks them if any one of the group can guess the colour of their headband they will all be set free, however if they guess wrong all three will lose their heads..... they stand for a while then the first who can see none of the others colours comes up with an answer and the chief sets them all free, the riddle is what does the first man guess and how does he arrive at the answer?

any question based on logic should do, ask what 2+2 is, whether you are male of female, first three digits of pie, all these should give an indication, a good riddle though... there is a good riddle about three pilgrims who get captured by a group of head hunters, they are each blindfolded and dressed in headbands either red or white, of which their are 2 and 3 respectively, they are lined up single file so the 3rd can see the 2nd and 1sts headbands the second the 1sts and the 1st can see noones

i know the answer its been awhile since this was out though, you have to ask witch door would the other one point to?, the evil one would have to point at hell because he cannot lie. but the truthful one would have to point at hell to because that is the door the other person would point at. solved!
