my screen goes completely blank in this part. I have no idea how to fight blind, any suggestions?

@dmans7707 Change your video driver (i'm supposing you're playing this game in ePSXe emulator), I was having the same problem but I fixed it changing the driver, I used Pete's DX6 D3D driver 1.75, it comes with the default drivers i guess, it also has a special game fix "Use old texture filtering" that I enabled, and now It works to its best, hope this helps!!! Greetings!!! ^_^

There IS an indication of up/down. Look at the pair of numbers near the horizontal ceneterline on HUD. it's the pitch angle in degrees. Tells you if u'r poiinting up or down. :P

I used to play this game a lot when it came out :) now I'm called "a hacker" in battlefield cause some noobs obviously don't know a sheeeet about piloting..... 13 long years of experience.... I miss that old time...

Uh, the sparkle trail isn't actually chaff in this part. It's just a sparkle trail. If you swivel the camera in 3rd person, you see blue sparkles coming out of your plane. It's just a special effect for the Electrosphere.

this is good but why do you use the su37 flanker and the typhoon the whole game?
why not the su47 berkut, or any of the top clas planes like U1 4054 aurora or the x4 900 geopelia, which are all way better

I use the typhoon because I love it *dreamy eyes* ah. Makes the whole game much more fun then using the "good" planes.
And I use the su-37 just because I need something with more missiles to take on the last missions with.

can you put the music up for the last mission? or is there even music for this last level?

I believe the track is "Zero-Sum." There are several places to download the soundtrack on the net, but I don't think I'm able to link to them for you. Do a google search and you shouldn't have a problem.
