Here is where you can buy the tickets http://sydney.edu.au/seymour/boxoffice/program_myeyesareuphere.shtml

This is quite possibly the single most interesting idea that I picked up in all of high school.

You see, my chemistry teacher had this poster that I sat next to. It had the various zoomed out parts of the univers and at the very lat stage from all the zooming into the millions of galaxies away was the little solar system, and still smaller the earth...

That we are very small and immaterial is the single thought that was very freeing to me. For some reason, it ment that I could do anything at all... and no matter what, fail or succeed, it didn't really matter. The only thing that does matter then is our day to day experiance. The way we live and interact with people. . .

I'll try and clear this up in Wednesdays show, as it is I kinda left it like nothing matters ever...

all the best in your journey through life,

  • @jareth312 1. Bailout money was doled out w/o any real conditions and the exec's used it to give themselves millions in bonus's. 2. When I said foreign aid I meant like giving Israel money or other affluent countries for no real reason, not when they are in need. 3. Regardless of whether you believe in the wars or not they were horrendously mismanaged and trillions were wasted and there were far more civilians casualties than necessary. 4. Voyager was launched in 1977. Great points regardless.

  • @jwhyte67 Were a dot in the universe. Although I understand where your coming from, where you believe this was important because it places our planet on a seperate perspectives then many other methods. But still, America's in a god damn economic crisis and they're spending money on this? You might be too young/ already have a job, But alot of people are without a job and have no sustainable income.Think about the real potential this project and this money could've had!

  • @jwhyte67 Part 3: Exploring new land like sending Apollo 18 up to space was important because there could've been Life up there, But this even though it had great potential, was wasted. It flew up, Through TONS of things it could've gotten photos, and observed, and instead flew until it was however many miles away. And snapped a single photograph. Of something well known,
