Buddy's voice sounds amazing. I guess someone would consider a good singer Seal or some soul singer.....but the drinking buddy does contributes to his unique voice that everyone loves....his voice has a lot of emotion and power and character and the drinking, screaming, and whatever else contributes to it. That's a good thing IMO

@specopgrunt8 drinking yes, screaming no (unless done wrong). there is a way of screaming that does not damage the vocal chords and from what buddy sounds like after his long career i doubt its ruined his voice.

Man, Buddy has such an incredible voice, I love it. So beautiful, I have never heard anyone sing as good as this, I bet that you would probably hear a voice that sounds just like this in such great fantasies and in those fantasies, there is nothing but peace :)

I wish my voice sounded like that when I sang. I doubt many people here can sing better than him and, even if they could, they wouldn't be able to write lyrics like him.

I have no reason to remove any 'insult' I said. Personally, I like the sound of Buddy's voice and I like his screaming. Does that mean in ANY way he's a good singer? No, that's my opinion. He's stated he drinks, and if he didn't state that he drinks then I'd have to assume he drinks after half of the songs on LINAWR have references to drinking. I don't have to sing or scream to know that both damage your voice over time.
