  • Ad Age MAdison :P P

  • I remember that conversation about Color Tv.

    Digital Watches, Then Video Games.

  • would you be referring to the beginning of the speech where he mentions europe, india n china? I imagine that it's not his place to spend time describing different countries but rather to sum them up in order to frame a view with respect to the context of his discussion

  • "It's very difficult to get people to buy refrigerators at a bar." Haha true.

  • I don't see the point in reducing huge countries and continents to a few words - I've watched every Eric Schmidt Google video, and he often says it.

  • I think it's also worth noting that he doesn't actually quantify it, just says "smarter than ever".. yes, but smarter in what way? Maybe they can text message 500 WPM, but can they navigate without a GPS, or survive without a complex industrial infrastructure? In other words, what does it really mean to be "smart"?

  • Could you please do a presentation at some point in the future about Google's R&D with "green" energy applications as they are applied to its 'products' as mentioned by Eric in this video?

  • People's IQ maybe going up but their EQ is drastically dropping.
