The Whale fall to the Providence Bruins tonight 3-2. The Whale scored 2 goals in the last 3 minutes of the game, but their comeback attempt fell short. Oren Eizenman led the Whale with a goal and an assist, in front of 9,118 in Hartford.
so many missed opportunities that could've been goals! it seemed like all of our passes were in slow motion then the shooters always held and let the providence goalie catch up. Also lately we haven't been crashing the net and getting rebounds. good win over wsb today though.
if the whole game was like those last few minutes we woulda won. we had so many opportunities but blew each one. the whole game was weak and then in the last few minutes the whole thing picked up. if only they started that afew minutes earlier.
Neither like nor dislike. This game mean little for either team in terms of standings. Though I would have liked to see some more of the fighting highlight's. Especially that a-hole Brian McGrattan's hit followed by the wave of boos towards the end of the third.
