  • @dinapoli123 And the Burghers, the muslims, the Tamils and the Veddhas... Don't forget the other Sri Lankans, pal! :-)

  • @Chamath5A thank you for your thoughts! Because of people like you our country sufferd for almost 30 years. Dont tell me that Vaddahs are not sri lankan? they are not sinhala but they are the real sri lankans.

  • @dinapoli123 it should be long live the Sri Lankan people (sinhala, tamil, Muslim, burger)! One Nation, United, and power to every citizen!

  • There was a time when Sri Lanka had eminent and internationally respected diplomats of the calibre of Sir Claude Corea, Shirley Amerasinghe and Rodney Vandergert. I hope that one day the diplomatic corps in Sri Lanka will be represented by such men again.

  • this is the quality you get when career diplomats are over looked and political stooges and relations of politicos are appointed to fill the posts. the quality of this man appalling to say the least.

  • P.S. If this guy is supposed to be the ambassador to the USA, he should at least learn some English. Shame that people think that this is the best that Sri Lanka can do.

  • Lol...first woman prime minister and these fools think that's enough. That was 40 years ago. Ask yourself how far we have progressed since then? If the USA fucks iteslf then we lose our major market for garment exports...then we'll be fucked ourselves. Not very smart Chamath,

  • An ambassador claiming "rapes this and that is not taking place" is such a joke. Last week high school children tried to rape a tourist. High school children!

The other day the Daily Mirror quoted a police inspector as saying, regarding under-age rape, that we should "teach these girls the consequences of their actions". We are still under the mindset that rape is the woman's fault, not the man's. Sri Lanka, despite Sirimavo and CBK, have a long way to go. Nothing wrong in acknowledging that.

  • @liverpoolfcofficial lol Do you also believe in the Illuminati?
