Writing Killer Backing Tracks

This video shows a brief overview of how I approach writing a new backing tracks.
I write my backing tracks in Apple's Garageband.
I use XLN Addictive Drums http://www.xlnaudio.com
and a collection of virtual instruments found in Garageband.
The guitar is a Parker Nitefly going through a Digidesign Eleven Rack.

Hey Dave, just a quick question, this is completely irrealevent but are the parker guitars nice to play, are there necks like any other brand like ibanez thanks?

@TheTadz9 It's hard to compare to anything else, but they are VERY comfortable. About 10 years ago, I was endorsed by Ibanez France.

I went to the music store to try some new Ibanez guitars, and saw that Parker sitting there.

I had to try it just because of its weird shape and it's been my main guitar ever since.

Very nice and instructive. Thanks David. The point of not overdoing backtrack is essential. I often loose the backtrack goal because of inspiration going on, making more and more layers... which doesn't leave any decent place for guitar.
