Mini Tesla Coil

TC specs: NST is 15kv/30mA with the variac up around half way (so maybe 7 or 8 kv to the system still at 30mA), Gap is set to around 3/8 inch or so, Cap is 30kv/180pF (MIT flea market special!). Primary former is an old cardboard tape roll or packing material, Primary wire is copper stranded bare grounding cable (18 AWG? maybe?) Secondary as described in the vid is only about 4 inches long. Spark length is about 12% of the length of the secondary, and given the test leads are not meant for HV and how it's just strewn out on a workbench I guess that's not too bad
