This drive runs northeast, near New York's Lake Erie coast, beginning at Exit 58 on the New York Thruway (I-90), then exiting at exit 57, onto NY-75, then hopping onto NY-5 for the drive over the Buffalo Skyway and into downtown Buffalo, New York.

  • At 2:34 that 18 wheeler almost lost it.

  • Great pit stop at Angola service area. Check out someday the GS Parkway service areas with the re-entry into the left lane (with 80+ MPH traffic usually).

  • To add to my previous post: I was so aware of the mile markers on the Thruway. 40 delineators per mile, and every fourth one would have the mileage to the tenth. Great if you broke down and had to call AAA to let them know exactly where you were. Also, great at night so you knew where the shoulder was, especially during the snow times. Thanks again!!

  • Thanks for the trip down memory lane. I am from Buffalo but live in Orlando now. My parents and my brother and I would make many tips to and from Jamestown to visit relatives. The Thruway was our way. I remember eating at the Angola rest area. I actually shot and posted a video of driving the two back to back cloverleafs in Buffalo this past May.. Check it out. Standard def, but glad I did it!

  • Dang, I've worn out the brakes here at my desk. Got to go check my heart rate.

Well the music didn't help either, pretty fast too.

  • what a high watching the highway, i miss driving.

  • OMG I ate at that rest stop you stoped at there just south of hamburg!!

  • @freewill2210 I wish I had more time in Buffalo, but I was on a 4-day weekend to circle Lake Erie, so I had to keep up the pace. It was beautiful!
