@kickmo the foam doesn't crack at all or crumble - it's basically a fine foam sponge material.

@animateclay so im guessing foam latex doesnt crack and crumble as much as plasticine?

@kickmo they are different materials, clay requires sculpting during animation. Foam doesn't so it's faster. It depends on the look you want to achieve.

@TheFlashstickman It is claytoon Van Aken brand clay. You can melt it down and pour it into your silicone molds.

How do you use tie-downs without seeing holes in your set? do you have to mask it out?

@TheFlashstickman Just tape the hole and paint it the same color as the set floor. Or use colored clay. It works really well.
