But go ahead and try. This song is a hit pop song, like today's hit pop songs. It has extremely simple instrumentals... In fact I learned every facet of the song in a single day... there is nothing complicated about it. Just like any other pop song. And the lyrics aren't so inspired...

While a lot of popular music is indeed shit, you can't say that all of THOSE specific genres are bad. Of course, some genres like emo, numetal, gangsta rap and hardcore are total shit. But you don't know a lot about music if you say R&B is shit. This is coming from a heavy metal drummer and keyboardist, by the way. Be more open about music. By the way, some of the greatest "rock" songs in the history of music are actually more R&B than rock. Learn some history.
