Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine: This is what what aussie's have to deal with!

Basically a video show how laggy every single game of space marine is. I am an aussie and I am constantly being paired up with people from other countries. I have never had a non-laggy game since the game's release and in fact the game I have uploaded here is one of the least laggy games I have played. The lag became a bit better shortly before I started recording; there was several seconds delay beforehand.

This video is to show what we here in AUS/NZ have to deal with when it comes to new release games.

In all honesty, this is easily the worst p2p matchmaking system I have ever seen, which is such a shame considering the game is actually quite good.
The matchmaking system has no region filtering, the voice chat is ALWAYS on and despite a lobby consisting of 100% aussie players; as soon as a person from EU/NA etc joins, they are immediately made host which just ruins everyone else's time.

Honestly, relic needs to add a ton of features to make the game even remotely playable, however it is relatively bug-free which is a reasonable achievement.

that is really a shame :( i havent picked the game up yet and i was looking forward to getting some nice games in, well scratch that idea, but the campaign is good right?

@seantheman non dedicated servers are just as bad for Console gamers. Okay this is a vid based on aussie experience and while you have it worse with the host defaulting to either EU/NA countries, for us in the EU it tends to still occur that we in the EU are defaulted to an NA host. Even if we in the UK have a 100% UK lobby it still isn't perfect as our upload speeds are at best 4Mb/s so unless the host has a business line running anything better the game can still be laggy.

Balls to matchmaking. Haven't developers realised by now that it DOES NOT WORK for the PC? Consoles? Guess we shouldn't be surprised, games are designed with consoles in mind now....
