May 3 (Bloomberg Law) -- The U.S. Supreme Court heard oral arguments last week in the case over the constitutionality of the new Arizona immigration law known as SB 1070. While the design, implementation and enforcement of immigration policy has traditionally been the purview of the federal government, analysts and commentators are beginning to think the high court may uphold certain provisions of the controversial Arizona law. Careen Shannon, attorney at Fragomen, Del Rey, Bernsen and Loewy, LLP, and Ian Millhiser, Senior Constitutional Policy Analyst at the Center for American Progress, talk with Bloomberg Law's Lee Pacchia.

    Jan: Since the NWO censored audience response to your press conference about the Supreme Court's ruling I'll have to be radical in this piece of shit. I hear the Justice Dept has already told you they won't respond if you call them about fence climbers. I have a suggestion. Have your law enforcement just shoot 'em, use a drop weapon and then claim self defense! Just kiddin', but I the thought probably crossed your mind.     Probable cause is if u cannot be identified as legally in the US, like if ur Canadian, African, Syrian, European, or otherwise, if u don't have identification in the system and commit a crime, that is probable cause

    In SB 1070 hearing, Fed lawyer was basically saying that Fed govt is unable to enforce the immigration law for every illegal aliens because of the lack of resources and unwilling to let mass deportation of illegal aliens take place because of possible foreign relation problems with Mexico. Also Fed lawyer added that non criminal illegal aliens didn't break any law. But, according to Federal law, illegal entry to US or illegal aliens seeking work is a federal crime.
