Romantic Piano Composition- If Only You Knew

Hey guys! As you all know, my favorite instrument (the most common instrument you hear in my instrumentals) is the piano. I decided to make another piano composition (which means it's piano only). I composed this song on my piano and decided to put it in FL Studio so I can put it here on Youtube. I wrote this for a girl I have feelings for. Hope you guys like it! iv been dying to ask somebody this-do you make a chord progression first or a melody? my piano teacher said either way works but what do you do? i prefer chords>melody btw

@dddavidshadowp - The way I did this song was by doing the melody first. But sometimes it works when you do the chord progression before the melody. If you can't think of a melody, try a chord progression first then the melody will just fall into place. Hope that helps!

Excelent job, the only change I would make Is bringing down the velocity a bit, giving the piano a bit of a softer melody. But that's just me.
