http://www.emetaldetectoraccessories.com In this video I do a little Metal Detecting in Daytona Beach. I don't find anything too old or any jewelry. I do find a 1957 Wheatie (Penny). One thing I wanted to do when making this video Metal Detecting on the beach was show people that it is possible with the Bounty Hunter Metal Detector. You just have to do one little thing with the discrimination and your good to go ,which I demonstrate in the video. Now I'm not sure about all models of Bounty Hunter Metal Detectors, but I'm sure there isn't too much difference in them. Be sure if you go in the water that you have a Metal Detector with a water proof coil.

I haven't been Metal Detecting for too long and I guess Bounty Hunter use to be some what of a joke when it came to Metal Detectors, but from my experience Bounty Hunter is a pretty accurate machine. At least the Quick Draw II is. I have also read some really good reviews of the other models of Metal Detectors they have as well. What ever Bounty Hunter is doing now a day's seems to have taken a turn for the better. Way Better! You get very distinct tones and amazingly accurate pin pointing.

Whenever my Quick Draw II tells me the target is trash it has been trash 10/10 times. It is also very accurate at telling you what the target is. In this video you will see an instance of this were it registers as a nickel 4" deep and I pull up a nickel 4" deep. If you are looking for an inexpensive Metal Detector I would definitely recommend the Bounty Hunter Quick Draw II or any other brand. I wouldn't get the least expensive one, as you will want the interchangeable coil option, and you will want a water proof coil unless you don't plan on going near any water, but if you change your mind your stuck.

You will also want some Metal Detector Accessories to go with it like Headphones, Digging Tool, Pin Pointer and a Carrying Bag. You can find these items at great prices, shipped to your door at my Blog. http://www.emetaldetectoraccessories.com

  • right on man! I see your discriminator knob was about in the 12 o'clock position, but i didnt see where your sensitivity knob was positioned. I have a bounty hunter 505 and live over here in sanford and was thinking about hitting the beach sometime since there isnt much else to do.

  • @andywalkerplumber Actually I had sensitivity all the way up. All metal.

  • "you can't stop me...I am on a mission"....LOL

  • get off of the beach, scumbag

  • My Bounty Hunter 202 just won't work on wet sand worth a crap some of my others I've owned would do okay in wet sand but my 202 just goes nutsos making false signals----time for me to get a good PI Water hunting detector--but they cost a lot naturally---but I've owned about 4 water machines and 2 of them were PI machines----should have kept those

  • see MY HOMEMADE LONGHANDLED BEACH SCOOP

  • @andywalkerplumber Daytona area is a good beach hunting area I'd suspect

  • @micmoable the 202 is probably the same circuitry(as the lonestar and 2000) If the beach gets eroded this weekend, I may be out there..we need some grand-daddy hurricanes to strip that sand away,

  • @andywalkerplumber I've had many of the best brands and models but now I'm using a used Bounty Hunter Pioneer 202 --it came with 8" coil and I ordered a 4" for trashy areas and do quite well with it but it doesn't have much depth capability--coins down to around 5 inches to 6 inches with 8" coil and about 3.5" to 4" on 4" coil------that little coil is super in trashy areas

  • "get off the beach, scumbag" LOL

  • Im getting a bounty hunter metal detector tomorrow and i think its the same one like yours too. Did you find any big objects ever in life?

  • Cool, I gave the 505 to my dad, i bought a cheap 35 dollar bounty hunter discovery 2000 used, which i took out on the beach the last two days.. these are good little machines once you learn how to tweak them, I had that thing in the surf ...only found 5 quarters a bunch of pennies and bottle caps, but it sure beats staying home..good luck to you, I might see you one day on the beach
