This video demonstrates the effectiveness of the perfect attacking corner tactic for FM 2011 (and FM 2010).

After conceding an early goal (through some slipshod defending), we managed to win the match by scoring 2 goals from corners. This is the second goal, scored by Scott Dann.

---------------

TACTIC DESCRIPTION:

Goto Team Settings -- Advanced Settings
Corners (both left and right): Far Post

Now set the following individual tactics for players for attacking corners:
DC1 = Attack far post
DC2 = Near post flick on
ST = Challenge keeper

Here, DC1 is your central defender who has better stats for Heading and Jumping (also Off the Ball and Positioning are good to look for). DC2 is your other central defender. ST is your more physical (stronger) striker.

To make this most effective, also make sure that the player with the best "Corners" stat is taking the corners.

    I normally don't bother with individual settings for the other players...

    I leave almost everyone else on default. Normally, your strategy (Defense/Std/Attack...) will dictate what they do.
