  • Hi Sharon,

Thank you for your comment! There are some different ways of girthing for different saddles. If you have more questions do not hesitate to contact me +44 1337 870489

  • Firstly saddle cloths were developed to foremost prevent horse's sweat to get to the saddle. So the saddle should fit the well that it does not require a cloth to prevent sores. Secondly this is a demo on how to girth a stock saddle so in everyday use a numnah or saddle cloth is advisable.

  • Thanks for this video and you have done a great job demonstrating the over girth and saddle placement. I'm having trouble with the girth buckles coming up to the sweat panels. I've tried a shorter girth and still face the same problem, only this time it is encountering the saddle pad. I notice in your video that the girth buckles never reach the bottom edge of the sweat flap, so is it a matter of the saddle type having too long of flaps for some body types of horses?

  • Loved this video. I'm getting an aussie saddle and this is just what I needed to see. I've never saddled up aussie style before. :)

  • What are you doing idiot? You want to give your horse sores? Use a bloody saddle cloth, I'm sure $15-$20 out of your pocket won't hurt C=
