The puppies in this video are from the Humane Society and are being fostered because they are too young to be put up for adoption. Young puppies and kittens are dropped off at the Humane Society for various reasons. Most commonly, irresponsible breeders do not want to care for the puppies anymore. As a foster family, our job is to care for puppies like these until they are old enough to be placed into a permanent home. The puppies in this video are estimated to be three weeks old. At the time of this video, the puppies are all under two pounds each. Because this litter is so young, they need to be bottle fed every few hours, even throughout the night. It is a lot of work to volunteer as a foster home, but it is also very fulfilling.
The puppy with a pink collar is a girl and her name is Mercedes. The puppy with green collar is a boy and his name is Cadillac. The little boy with a yellow collar is Lamborghini. The black and brown puppy is a girl named Ferrari. Bentley is the black and white boy.
Before you buy from a breeder or, worse, a pet store, please take a look at your local animal shelter or humane society. There are so many fantastic animals looking for a second chance and a loving home. Also go to your animal shelter to find out more about fostering or other volunteer opportunities.
Thank you for saying "too young to be adopted". this also implies "too young to be separated from the mother". I am offended when I see punks & skinheads (nobody else, strangely enough) walking around with puppies that are way too young, pulling them on a leash, and obviously the puppies don't walk, they just get dragged by the leash, like pulling an object.

can you imagine the pain the mother feels when the owners get rid of the puppies?

its good if theyre NEUTERED or spayed because then they cant accidentally breed and make puppies which is the number 1 cause for overcrowding in shelters and EUTHANIZATION. and just get a mutt why would you want a purebred rottweiler in times like this...dont go finding breeders just cause u feel like having a pure. think about all those innocent lives being taken each day because irresponsible people like you only care about yourself. think about that before you go posting stupid ?s on youtube

So if you buy adopt from a animal shelter, I know of about 2 or 3 in the area, Do they spayed or nurture your dog at an early age? I don't want that for my puppy. I mean my uncle got a nice dog from the adoption center, he was really young and healthy.he appeared to have his shots and be well cared for when he brought him home. I hope for the same. Do they tell you if its a pure breed or not. I am looking for a purebred rottweiler for summer. I can give it all the attention/care it needs.

I love fostering, my mum brings home abandoned kittens from the vets where she works, or from a local charity whenever they need help. I love it! Its so good to see someone else who loves it too!

That's good to hear! I'm currently volunteering for a Humane Society - I was ecstatic to realise it was an opportunity offered at my university.
Today was my first day; I walked one dog and she was just the cutest and so well-behaved!
