Very cool. Is this from an interview or doco? I don't think this is pointless at all. I hope people learn to turn off their tv's and go outside to talk to people.

@BeatmakerzUp - All you have to do is a Wikipedia search for "subliminal stimuli" and you will find numerous references from scholarly journals on psychology that DO show the efficacy of images occurring below the level of consciousness on the human mind. There has been lots of dis / mis-information from various advertising and mass-media sources to discredit such techniques, I will admit. But, the debate definitely continues. I watched this movie when i was about 13 years old and those frames scared a sh*t of me back then, I was seeing them for about a month, every time I closed my eyes.

Thanks for giving us your OPINION on the reliability of studies. But, what FACTS do you offer to support this belief? Its my opinion that perhaps you're buying into the available misinformation / disinformation campaign, which is the REAL nonsense.

Errm. . . What exactly does this have to do with subliminal messages? "The Exorcist" is a poor example of this, since that demonic figure is seen and noticed by the conscious, not the subconscious. This video just seems a little. . . pointless. . . in my opinion.

The Exorcist flash frame of the demonic face has been refererred to in numerous publications and essays as being a subliminal technique used to heighten fear. I agree that MANY people will notice it on a conscious level at 1/12 of a second - However, SOME may not. Its all very subjective - and therefore - NOT pointless... in my opinion.
