We were conducting a danger close mission near Iskandariyah with Army artillery. Silly us.
( Warning- If you don't feel like watching a shaky camera pointed toward nothing in particular, stop watching after about 30 seconds. Sorry, I couldn't edit it for some reason.)

  • Did someone give the wrong strike coordinates? I thought it was a fire support strike mission on the building off in the distance? I guess that's what happens when you give the order to fire artillery on your own position. Live and learn, if you're fortunate enough to survive someone elses mistake.

  • @GTMustangRider No, our coordinates were not given. It was a danger close mission and we were conducting it within the gun target line. The guns were pretty far off and they just over-shot the target, which put it right on top of us.

  • thanks for showing me a 2 minute video of ur left hand.... made my day

  • The only thing more accurate than incoming enemy fire is incoming friendly fire.

  • At the beginning of the video, the narrator says it's a, "danger close mission on the bunker, 325 meters". That looks awfully closer than 325 meters, more like 100 meters.

  • @mphof74 No fuck you you stupid punk. Still living with your Mom? I am a Vietnam vet. What are you but a punk asshole.

  • @mtefft fuck you asshole, go join the military if you want to see some action first hand.

  • And why did you bother posting this to Youtube? You might as well have posted a video of paint drying. Great camera handling.

  • how did they survive the blast wave...it looked so close

  • judging by some of the comments here not everyone understands Artillery tactics and terminology. This is intentional and is practiced. You know when and where the Joe is coming so it's really not that big of a deal to us that do it.
