NTD Reporter Assaulted

Last Friday, Chinese NTD reporter Zhu Jiang attended a press conference in New York City on energy-saving light bulbs held at the Fukien American Association in Chinatown.

She says that while setting up her camera, she was assaulted by a group of Chinese men. They forced her to give up her video tapes and camera memory card. Her hand was also injured in the process.

According to a National Institute of Justice report, the Fukien American Association has close connections with--quote--"the most powerful...Chinese organized crime groups in the U.S."...and they openly declare--quote--"We are from Red China," which implies connections to the Communist Party.
