  • I definitely agree with them. Even if they sang their songs with the feminine pronouns in it I'd still love them. I'm a straight chick and I don't think their songs are weird because they're about women. To me, love is love and it doesn't matter who the song is about. We all experience similar emotions and situations in romantic relationships and if a song is about a gay relationship, it's still about love and we can all still relate to its message or theme.

  • music doesn't have a sexuality, good point.

  • Thank You Tegan and Sara for being my rolemodels! lol No, seriously, I'm really glad they're out and talk about it like this vid but are really cool about it like "Yeah, we're gay, but who cares", like don't making a fuss about it. Society in general is now more open about it, but I think in little villages like mine it would be still -um- weird? to come out, I'm afraid of it. And even in the mainstream artist who come out get stuff like "some people do anything to get more famous". <3 T & S!

  • SARA YOU ARE MY ROLE MODEL!

  • @ophy4 And when did i imply that women are here for MY happiness!? I said Id be a happier guy as in if I could find a girl i wish they had similar traits to T&S. I happen to enjoy relationships with women and yes i mean relationSHIPS not realations. I didnt seperate them because theyre gay women I did so because I like them as individuals the only reason i mentioned their sexuality is because Im not a girl so I dont have the privilege of having a chance

  • @ophy4 Whoa Whoa! First off I meant no disrespect to all women. I was talking about my personal experiences with women who were..yes materialistic bitches. I said "All women' my mistake i meant all women in my life. It wasnt a generalization for all women everwhere.

  • @GrimW1991 Homophobia and sexism all rolled up in one comment. Well done!

I just love how you stereotyped all women as "materialistic bitches". Newsflash- Theses "bitches" your "stuck with" are complex human beings. All women are different and complicated. And they don't just exist for your happiness!

And somehow, being gay women, they're separate from the rest of society? They ARE role models for so many women. You're making a hell of a lot of assumptions about women and lesbians.

  • lol tegans adorable

  • Finding this band helped me come out to my family and win my first girlfriend's heart. :)

  • I wish these 2 weren't gay. Not because I have a problem with it but because they seem like the coolest girls as appose to these materialistic bitches im stuck with. They should be a role model for all women cause if more were like them id be happier guy for sure. If only T&S....If only

  • @1:20 tegans high face and saras looking pretty/heeeeey face ;D

  • The reason I love T&S so much is that they are great songwriters and artists and have a great sense of humor to go along with it. In this clip they show how serious they are also which I admire. I think they are so intelligent also and the way they come up with great songs well.....I just hope they keep doing it the same way. I love them! :)
