The Irish Brigade plays two old hornpipe set dances, The King of the Fairies and The RIghts of Man. In our live audio visual performances we used The King of the Fairies to help illustrate the mysterious, prehistoric past of Ireland, and The RIghts of Man (which was written in honour of Paine's treatise of the same name) to illustrate the coming of Enlightenment ideas to Ireland, personified by The Society of United Irishmen. I have followed the same format in constructing this video.
