You got ripped off buying that Sony HDMI cable. You couldve gotten a similar quality one from monoprice for $8 shipped!

There is blu-ray playback software for the PC such as Total Media Theater and PowerDVD. You shouldve at least tried the trials of those programs to see if it wouldve worked. Oh well at least now its a "hot" coaster lol.

Yeah, this thing crapped out after using it once a week for a month. I called around Best Buy and Insignia, they kept pointing fingers at each other.
So there it sat.
Today, 6 months later, i got curious. Cracked it open, pulled the drive, and installed it to my PC. Drive works, but cant play blu-ray due to lack of software. Soooo....this POS just met the tough end of my MAG light about 10 minutes ago. Now it's no longer staring at me silently from my entertainment center. I win.
