This is Mercury, but an in-the-air handling I designed just for camera. Think Ascanio, but backwards with all different fingers, done with clear Bicycle cards. Crazy. Your comments are welcome!!!

The original routine and handling (done parallel to a working surface) is credited to David Kong. This version, as I said before, is a modified handling I designed for a better look on camera.

  • hey where you got clear card???

  • please read before asking questions.

  • bad thing about this deck is, that for this trick when your holding the 2 cards the plastic is less see-through than the others, you could tell if your looking........

  • Very true.

Though, if you read the additional txt on the video (look on the side), you'll see that regardless of the slight visual difference, this is one of the best effects to be done with these cards, as they aren't practical for anything else.

This is also not some I EVER use in real performances, but fun to mess with, nonetheless.

So yes, if you're looking really hard, you'll notice... but why try?

It's so much more fun to ignore your instincts and have fun with alternate reality. :)

Really though, I learned the original off the DVD (I know, I pay money for things... .: sigh :. ) And decided it didn't look good enough for camera.

It was a technical nightmare at first, but looking back it really wasn't so bad.

  • touche! but how did YOU learn this trick... through public exposure obviously. lmao im just being diffucult man haha.
