very good review.. but two questions, when you take a picture is there a front display option? and can you read text messages from the front?

Yes to question 1. You can take a picture with the phone closed using the outside screen as the viewfinder. You cannot however read text messages from the front display.

yes you can actually. You have to go to settings in the messaging menu and turn auto-view on.

don't recommend the phone. I have this model and it keeps crashing when I put scheduling events in. It's even crashed when I've gotten text messages. I was suprised to learn that another person who has the same phone is having the same problems. Don't get this phone.

I have this phone for about 3/4 of a year and it crashed about 4 through 5 times.

i have that phone and it hasin't crashed on me once at all so i would say it's a bad ass phone i like it but not for everyone
