  • Anita, at the height of her swing period, all of 22 yrs. old, and upstaging the great Roy Eldridge. An amazing short for it's time pairing a white singer with a black trumpeter. And Krupa beating out the swing effortlessly.

Do people of today realize what great artists these folks were? Timeless.

  • FANTASTIC!!! I have been playing trumpet for 35 years and have ALWAYS admired Roy Eldridge. I was fortunate to have met him several times when he played Chicago. Thankfully I also met Anita when she played Chicago. She graciously autographed her book to me. These two artists were just SO amazing! I have listened to this song many times over the years and now it is so nice to see it performed! Thanks so much for posting!!!!!!
