There is a TRUE story about a woman who was buried under 4 feet of dirt in a cardboard box.She used her engagement ring to cut the tape off her feet and to get out of the box then she escaped.So I don't think it's completely impossible to climb through dirt.

@mikenike123454 Yeah but I don't know if it was tested properly on Mythbusters. Weird I know, they usually test everything right but this time maybe not. They used a gelatin dummy or something instead of a human, and human bone is strong, they used a real coffin not the weaker makeshift one here, they assumed the dirt was 6 feet deep when it could have been 3 or 4 and they did not know the texture of the dirt, if it was loose or moist, AND Beatrix was sincerely pissed off. Anger=adrenaline.
