Roman Legions vs Persian Immortals

I recently downloaded the Greco-Persian Wars mod for R:TW. One of the first things I wondered was if the Persains could take the Romans. As a test, I pited a regular Legionairy Cohort vs a unit of Persian Immortals. I set the unit count to "huge", to make it more interesting.

My first trail was me playing as the Romans. The Immortals did cycle charges, which didn't make it a fair fight (since withdrawling repeatedly costs a lot of men and I could fire more volleys of pilla). I was the Persians for this round.

BIG MISTAKE. DO NOT read through the comments. They are basically arguments about which empire is better and people trying to show pride in the fact that they were, without a choice, born into a country which had a glorious past which they had nothing to do with. I mean it's not like you people chose to be born in these countries, and nor did you have any involvement in any historically great achievements they may have done. Gosh, this is a video game.

P.S. Battle of Carrhae was Parthians that are Iranic people but were not Persian.

@ReedamBeIslam and by the way actually you dont know romes greatest defeats but i will tell you : 1) battle of cannae (tactical defeat) 2)battle of teutoburg forest (ambush) 3)battle of carrhae (persians won because cavaltry archers)
