Now would be a great time to see MVC3, specially since capcom's had great experience. MVC 3 with net play would totally sell.

Well, a number of things. MVC 2 was fun, but totally imbalanced. With Capcom learning from their mistakes, they can presumably, create arcade style gameplay for a worldwide audience. The sprites are already there, move data, new characters, improved graphics, and of course, online play. They can sell this on any platform, and make money. If they allow any player to compete against anyone regardless of region, it would ensure the game had an audience wherever it sold. Isnt it time for a revival?

"Isnt it time for a revival? "
While I agree with everything you mentioned above, I don't think that a revival is what capcom needs. I can't say that I speak for every fighting game fanatic out there, but I believe that it is the technicality of fighting games that attracts certain gamers to that genre. Right now, the market is aimed mostly at casual players and many game companies have simplified their franchises to the point where the games are extremely easy to pick up(and put down).

Capcom is guilty of this as seen in TvC.

My point is, releasing MVC3 in this day and age would most likely not please us (the fans of Marvel, Capcom fighting games, and MvC).

(I hate the character limit for YT comments)

Once again, I can't see how a fighting game, a game that does not require an in depth faq, or powerlevelling, or hunting for easter eggs, achievements or trophies, can't be considered a game you can pick up then drop when you get bored. I mean, you can actually play 1 round then stop. I'm pretty sure capcom can come up with some sort of simplified system. Point to you though, for pointing out, the genre is losing popular favor.
