What is Gaussian resampling anyway? Some kind of dynamic gaussian blur around light sources?

So what, this changes the opacity curve for the resampled frames? I just started using Sony Vegas's "SuperSample" feature which rounds it out great. Looks much better than simply having a linear progression.

Its a bit to bright in some most areas makes it hard on the eye.
