How to Spike Hair in the Back [LONG SPIKES]

Uhh, So I had my hair spiked in the back for over two years.
My hair is naturally dark brown, this is after I went Super Saiyan. [Blonde. -.-]
This was taken when they were at the longest they ever were, I think like ten inches.
Normally I would use a straigtner, but it wouldn't keep them up when it got to be that long.
And before anyone asks, YES. I am a girl.
Honestly, I loved my spikes, but there were pros and cons.
Pros-
Looks cool.
Lots of compliments/attention.
Show off your inner teenage angst/rebelliousness.
Pretty simple to do once you get a hang of it.
Looks good as a haircut with the spikes up or down.

Cons -
Takes a shitload of time.
Can fall down during the day and make you look like a fucktard.
If you're a girl, get prepared to be called a dyke. A lot.
People WILL touch your hair.
Might not have the patience.
It does get old quick.

Uhh, but yeah.
If you want to attempt this, this video showed how I did it.
And by the way, whoever says you need to go out and get ridiculously overpriced hairspray like Got2B or whatever, they're stupid as fuck.
I used the cheapest hairspray I could find and it honestly worked better then expensive shit.
If you live by sallys, get the big red can that's sallys brand.
And if you're going to use this with a straightner, DON'T! use an expensive one, 'cause it WILL be ruined.
If you use a straightner, it will make a gross sizzling sound, but it DOES NOT damage your hair, it's just the hairspray getting in place.
It will turn your straightner black though, but that's just burnt shit.
Even if your straightner is burnt though, it will still straighten your hair.
