Demo of the MXR Micro Chorus. You'll hear five clips: Slow (humbucker), Slow (single coil), Medium (humbucker), Fast (humbucker), then Medium (humbucker, Zakk Wylde-style). The guitar used in the demo is an Ibanez Talman with Ibanez Super 58 pickups.

  • 1:44 Help they are chasing me!! Or, im late for work and im going to get fired. Speeding down the freeway cutting people off. Why do you add vibrato to the end of the riff? It might make people think its part of the pedal effect. The fast rate sounds terrible. I did order one of these though.

  • @journeyquest1 I dunno, I saw the Bigbsy there and felt like using it. I think the fast rate sounds great and I'm thinking of using the Micro Chorus just for the fast rate, and my MXR Stereo Chorus for regular chorus stuff.

  • needed pedal off sounds to compare.

  • Great demo! Wasn't expecting that metal madness at the end but it was cool. I'm getting one of these. There aren't many analog choruses out there but they sound so sweet compared to digital pedals. Another that should be checked out is the Electro-Harmonix Small Clone. It's great a but a little too big and uses a different power supply.

  • @iheartguitarblog

    Very good presentation

  • WOw! sounds very good!

  • @journeyquest1 Thanks!

  • @thebibleisalltrue I dont think it is especially noisey. It has true bypass. For 70 bucks out the door, on amazon, how can you lose? Im glad i bought mine.

  • This pedal is easy to use and sounds good no matter where you set it. I tried it with my Gretsch jumbo acoustic with Fishman preamp and man does it add nice depth. The 74 vintage reissue phase 90 pedal i just got sounds really sweet. Mxr is making some nice stuff again.

  • I have read reviews that say this pedal is noisy. Is that true? I really like the tone.

  • it's hard to hear the tail-off of the effect, when you keep hitting the whammy.
