I don't understand the reasoning behind using a jumbo plugged in. Why not get the x14 series instead, since you don't need the larger chamber when using the ES?
Great job, btw.

what string are recommended for this guitar? my taylor doesn't sound nearly this good

Awesome - I have a 315ce and it sounds incredible - especially when you have the right mic to capture it :) Don't get me wrong, the expression system is among the best around, but a good mic can catch a lot of the nuances inherent to this type of playing. Great job man!

@arcticnorthmusic how much did you pay for it?
-
I just got one and its a nice guitar but i don't think it should be so expensive ...

im thinking about buying this guitar. Do you think the electronics give this guitar justice?

@stephen0093 The Taylor expresion system is one of the best you can find on acoustic guitars, although the best way to record them is using a pair of expensive microphones such as neumann or AKG.
If you're looking for a good system for home recording go for it!

You have a very nice clean style, and that 315ce sounds so sweet man. That spruce/sapele mixed with that jumbo body works very well. If you don't mind, could you post a vid where you you get up on it, really drive that top?

You mean some kind of hard strumming?
