we used to let my pigeon out all the time, however she's been attacked by a hawk twice now, sooooo we dont let her out as much anymore =(

I see there 2 eggs. They need to fly and eat mais. Under the eggs I put sand from wood / as for the cat toilet/ and they build a nest on top of it. During the day the father is warming the eggs and the mother comes during the night and still they prefer to fly and bring special food to their chicks. Of course they are very happy with the mais i give and they always return to their nest. You really do not need to close them to keep them,they will be returning.they are happy you gave them place! x

My pigeons are completely free outside my terasse.
Next to their nest I put big pot full with MAIS and other small grains - that is their food!!! Then they do not have to fly so far to search for food and they are happy to care for their chiks :-)))
