The initial definition of fascism is WRONG!!!! Educate your self, dude...
-
@tripleleo Whoever taught you that has no place as a teacher.
"Fasces are a bundle of wooden sticks with an axe blade emerging from the center, which is an image that traditionally symbolizes summary power and jurisdiction, and/or "strength through unity". Fasces frequently occur as a charge in heraldry, and should not be confused with the related term, fess, which in French heraldry is called a fasce."

@kill3456 thats not what I learned, I think the rod and axe stand for the authority of the Roman senate to punish and kill

@kill3456 so i could go around wearing swastika's on my person since before him it was used for a completely different meaning?

@TheChuck1617 Just stating facts. You made it seem like they were oblivious to the design until it was too late. So if what I said was obvious... oh excuse me.... "obivoso" as you so elegantly put it, then why did you post the comment that you did? Or better yet, no need to answer that. The last thing I'm looking for is a debate about this one. Honestly. You can have it.
This is retarded.
The Fasces symbol is an old symbol of the Roman Empire which basically stands for "United but ready to fight" or "Strength through Unity" but of course it was adopted later by Mussolini just like the Swastika was adopted by Hitler.

@kill3456 It's clear where those symbols originated. Though if I can't sport a swastika on the street while claiming to only worship an ancient Sun, US congress shouldn't sport the Fasces for the same reasons...they have totally different meanings today. Not that I wanna wear a swastika...
