@TheLizardKing1967 the 240z was around for a few years even before 68 in japan and it was called the fairlady but the guy in charge of datsun in the states didn't think a car with a girly name like that would sell here,

@TheLizardKing1967 wrong... the first Z produced was in late 68 before your Z28, MR.K the head of the production team got the name Z from Fairlady Z, and the motor is a 2.4L Inline 6, giving it the name the 240z. Try getting facts before being ignorant ;)
