Following the success of their debut release, Finest Hour, Submotion Orchestra proudly present their new release All yours, a powerful yet delicate track showcasing to the full their many splendored musical talents. Destined to extend their growing reputation far beyond dubstep circles "All yours" is quite simply magical
Accompanying the original version are two mighty remixes. The first one comes courtesy of dubstep don Jack Sparrow, whose Circadian LP and other releases on Tectonic, Mad Decent and Wall of Sound have resulted in him carving out an enviable reputation. The charm of "All yours" seems to have rubbed off on Mr Sparrow who sets aside his own often more crunchy persona to deliver a remix of great depth and beauty.
Also on Remix duties are SeeMore Productions, who bring a slightly more relaxed feel to the song, skillfully blending a suggestion of hip hop rhythms with some ultra subtle Detroit style instrumentation. Not much is known about this anglo US outfit but with remix credits including Foreign Beggars and Slum Village you can be sure that the track is in safe hands.
Submotion Orchestra draw on dubstep, soul, ambient electronica, jazz and dub and have rapidly built a significant reputation as one of the most intriguing ensembles to surface in the last 12 months. Their deep bass driven grooves combine with an ethereal piano, a plangent trumpet, and deft percussion to create the perfect setting for the fragile beauty of Ruby Wood's vocals and the celestial electronics of sound designer Ruckspin.
Their debut release, the Finest Hour EP lit up the world of the musical digerati unleashing torrents of Twittery and some heavy Facebook action. It also brought the ensemble to the attention of Gilles Peterson, who instantly became a believer. Mucho play on Mr Petersons show ensued, Finest hour was licensed to his Brownswood Bubblers series - a series which had already featured Jamie Woon, Flying Lotus and Floating Points - and the ultimate accolade, a Radio 1 Live at Maida Vale session
The Orchestra are also very much a live band. In 2010 numerous appearances in their hometown of Leeds plus some judiciously selected club dates further afield followed by some prime festival slots (Big Chill, Latitude, Outlook and Bestival) brought them an ever growing group of fans. They embark on their first ever full nationwide tour on 9 March playing London's Jazz Café (19th March) and 12 other dates around the country

A well respected youtube uploader called Bob42jh just favourited this, so a bunch of underground Hip Hop heads from America or wherever are being redirected onto a dubstep track haha. I thought that was kind of funny, hopefully soon he'll be heading people to more UK artists, that would be cool still.
