This video is aimed at people wanting to become PROFESSIONAL vinyl and decal applicators and not the average DIYer.

This is a great video showing how to back up the vinyl decal to fix an air bubble. Also, a great way to show what happens when your high tack application paper lifts part of your design!

Vinyl used: ORACAL 751
Pre-mask: R-Tape Conform 4075

Fixing your mistakes with this method won't always work. Temperatures have to be moderate. If the design is extremely complicated with small pieces, it may not work.

  • It really depends on the strength of the adhesion between the application tape and vinyl compared to the vinyl and substrate. Also, small parts like letters and such may have some stick and some come back off.

Obviously this doesn't always work. Like on a hot summer day in the sun on plexiglass.....this will not work!

  • Does the popping work to get the vinyl back off to fix it when working with the clear conform, plastic like transfer tape?
