Managed to stay clean? If so, good for you! However, keep in mind that you can still relapse at any time, really, and addicts/alcoholics are known to relapse even decades after cleaning up.
But whatever the case, good for you! I've only been clean since April, and that's only thanks to Suboxone --I'd never have made it this far without it.

You going to a clinic? If not, you will not stay clean, guaranteed. You need a doctor's help, period; the 1-year relapse rate for opiate addicts who are not on replacement therapy like methadone (effective but restrictive) or suboxone (again, effective but not as restrictive) is 97%. The odds do not get better after 1 year; this is because post-acute withdrawals persist for up to 10 years, as addiction actually reduces brain function (and not all of it comes back).

Yeah, I had to go to the fucking hospital to detox like everyone else and then it was another month of intensive outpatient treatment 5 days a week from 8-3 at another hospital, and now I'm on Suboxone (which works really, REALLY well for me, it's been a nigh-miracle) for the rest of my life. Fuck this resort bullshit.
