In 1941 Edward R Dewey together with a group of eminent scientists, businessmen and people in government began the Foundation for the Study of Cycles. The idea was to research cycles, or repeating phenomena, in every branch of human study, scientific, economic and social.

He took advice from famous physicist Richard Feynman on the correct interpretation of the surprising results of this research. It has important implications for all branches of human study and if ignored is as big a mistake as doctors ignoring the study of germs.

  • As mentioned in the other thread on war cycles, when I ran Dewey's 1960s stock cycles forward, they predicted the October 1987 crash. Richard Mogey continued using the same techniques as Dewey and with the power of computers was able to improve them.

Stock markets are one of the hardest things to predict, so success may consist of being right 60% of the time. I have not got the FSC program, so I cannot say whether it does as well as claimed, but expect that it would be a useful tool.

  • The dewey's rock lol my last name is Dewey lol Sherry Dewey is my name lol

  • I had asked on a previous video blog of yours that I read that the Foundation for the Study of Cycles led by Richard Mogey has come up with a stock market timing scheme. How much credibility would you place in their claim to accurately time the stock market , short, mid and long term moves using cycle forecasting?

Thanks, you are so interesting to listen too I'd love to be able to put you on my iPod and listen to you whenever I had the chance, like working commutes etc.
